“Resident Evil: Afterlife” Stars Get to Work

Hard at work on their new film, Wentworth Miller, Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter and Spencer Locke prepared for a “Resident Evil: Afterlife” scene on a ship in Lake Ontario on Wednesday (November 4).
The foursome just got started on the Paul W.S. Anderson directed flick, which is the 4th installment from the franchise with a release date set for August 27, 2010.

As for the plotline, a summary tells, “In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead leads them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.”
Excited about the new gig, Miss Jovovich tweeted: “Wow, just finished a scene with Ali Larter and Wentworth Miller on a skiff approaching the huge ship. To say its cold is a joke. A bitter joke. Of course, Ali and I aren’t wearing much and to make matters worse Wenty is driving the boat himself and crashing it repeatedly! lol!”

In the film, Cameron plays the wife of James Marsden’s character who is forced to worry about money when her husband is fired. Shortly thereafter they are presented with a box from a stranger that will give them a million dollars to push a button and kill some random person.
Of the premise, Cameron told press, “It’s not a decision that you take lightly, especially when you know the ugly consequences. We’re all offered little buttons to push every day of our lives. I think the bottom line is, ‘Nothing is for free.’”

If there is none, I am really comfortable remaining in China."

Poppa Lohan Says He'll Shut Up If LiLo Goes To Rehab

As the war rages on in the LOLhan household, things are getting pretty damn ugly and even more public! But there is a glimmer of hope!
Michael Lohan swears that he will shut the hell up as soon as his daughter Lindsanity gets back into the rehab.
The bargain was suggested days after Poppa Lohan threatened to release voicemails proving that not only does Lindsay have a problem with prescription drugs, but his ex-wife, Dina Lohan as well.
Of course, Dina isn't taking any of this lying down, and she has already started to take action to shut him up legally. She was quoted saying: “He’s getting a cease-and-desist letter [from us], so that’s not going to happen. If it’s something personal about your child, you don’t go public with it.”
But while the cease-and-desist letter might stop some people, it doesn't seem to be bothering Michael. He insists that he will go public with his information if he doesn't see a drastic change and furthermore, points the blame on Dina for forcing him to go public:
“To begin with, I have been trying for a year to help Lindsay with her problems PRIVATELY through Lindsay, her mom, her attorney Blair Berk and even her new attorney Shawn Holley and the courts.
I have the records to prove it. But when that didn’t work, and the calls I was getting from Dina and Lindsay needed immediate attention, it was recommended to me to go public, like Martin Sheen and others did, in order to put pressure on Lindsay.
I wasn’t going to let people hear Dina’s drunken rants about Lindsay, and I certainly wasn’t going to let people hear anything about Lindsay, but now that Dina and Lindsay continue to lie and deny their problems, and even make up stories about me, NOW you will see and hear Lindsay’s calls and texts. I am NOT the liar, they are. Hopefully then, they will realize how deceptive and in denial they are and finally realize that lying and denial are part of their addictions.
I am sorry I had to take this route, but I have tried and tried to help Linds and I have been lied about long enough.”

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Michael Jackson concert movie "This Is It" saw opening weekend ticket sales in the U.S. and Canada rise by 9 percent from initial estimates to a total $23.2 million, according to final studio figures on Monday.
The movie has made another $69.5 million internationally since its Wednesday opening, up from an original box office estimate of $68.5 million, film studio Columbia Pictures said.
In total, the movie has made $103.9 million at worldwide box offices, said Columbia Pictures, the Sony Corp division that paid $60 million for the video used in the film.
"This Is It" follows Jackson during his final weeks of rehearsal for a planned series of 50 shows in London.
The concerts were canceled when the "Thriller" singer died on June 25 from an overdose of powerful medication in Los Angeles, and investigators are probing his death.

The argument then reached a climax when Reinhardt allegedly threw the hotel heiress' cellphone through the car window - forcing Hilton to stop the vehicle and search for the device. A second witness adds, "She was staggering down the street, up and down. And the guy they were with was trying to block anyone from taking pictures. It got very physical. The limo driver was horrified!"

A slew of interesting rumored romances hit the gossip pages and Internet faster than you could say "no way!" Though some seemed like they could be real, a few there left us scratching our heads. So, we decided to round them up and figure out who is heating up and who aren't even lukewarm.

Kicking things off is Joe and Demi, who were recently seen dining with Kevin Jonas and his fiancé Danielle Deleasa. As soon as these two stepped out, everyone immediately assumed it was a date. But, we think it was just dinner. They've been friends for a while, plus he might be dating Brenda Song, and Demi might be seeing a better looking version of her former flame Trace Cyrus.

They starred in the upcoming rom com "Valentine's Day" together and since then, these two have been gushing to everyone how awesome they think the other is. Then came the hug. When Lautner made a cameo at her show in Chicago last week, everyone began speculating that they were America's newest sweethearts. We're not sure it's true, but they would be so cute together!

John and Jennifer might be back together and that news at this point is kind of a snoozefest. How many times have they done this already? But, it's the rumor that he was seen kissing a guy at a club in Palm Springs that made us stop for a second. John is known to be sort of a ladies man, so we weren't sure we could believe it. Thank goodness he took to his Twitter account (which he promises he'll never delete) to clarify that it just isn't true.

Finally, we in no way even remotely believe that Leo and "The City" starlet Whitney are dating ... or flirting ... or anything that appears to be romantic. He dates models, and she has questionable taste in men. So questionable, in fact, that Leo and her make no sense at all. We don't need sources to tell us it's not true because it clearly isn't.

I assume you, the esteemed jurors, are well aware of the precedence in this case. The name-sharing pair were first snapped together filming scenes for their upcoming rom-com "Valentine's Day" in late July. Swift later said their onscreen lip lock "was life-changing." Fast-forward to fall and the teen dreams were caught sharing a lingering embrace at Swift's concert in Chicago. Which brings us to the past week (when they were, as seen to the right, Spotted! shopping together at Alice + Olivia). Here are the latest developments:


1. They both like to eat!

2. They both like hockey!
Taylor Swift concerts aren't the only entertainment the pair enjoys together. They're both big fans of watching guys get pummeled on the ice. The two cozied up at a Columbus Blue Jackets and Los Angeles Kings hockey game at the Staples Center on Sunday, raising even more eyebrows. Swift was later grilled about her date on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show," People reports. "Is that part of the movie when you all go to some kind of game together?" Ellen asked jokingly, referencing the duo's role in "Valentine's Day." "I really like hockey a lot and it turns out so does he," Swift responded. "Wow, so you just ran into each other?" Ellen countered, incredulously.

3. She likes to play coy!
Swift hasn't admitted to dating the hunky actor just yet, but she hasn't denied it either. When asked by CMT Radio's Cody Alan about her relationship with Lautner, the singer was purposely vague. "I don't know, he's an amazing guy and we're really close … and ah … yep," she explained. "We're in a movie together and I am really excited about seeing it." We'll let you decide whether this serves as any further sort of confirmation, but Swift did let it slip as to which side her "Twilight" allegiances lie, saying she's "Team Jake" all the way.

Disney reps confirm to MTV News that Miley’s new movie, The Last Song will be releasing a couple of months later than the original date, saying, “The date is now April 2. We found a better release date than January for it. It will open Easter weekend/spring break.”

Miley’s other movie, Hannah Montana The Movie, which also premiered in April topped the box office earlier this year.

The Last Song, also starring Liam Hemsworth, was originally supposed to be released in January 2010.

"The Last Song" is gearing up fast. Previously announced as an untitled movie which is developed to be Miley Cyrus' starring vehicle, the drama film has got its production schedule with Walt Disney Pictures listing the month of June as the time the feature adaptation project begins its principal photography.
Aside from the planned shooting schedule, the mouse house have also picked up first time feature film director Julie Anne Robinson to helm the project. A BAFTA Award-winning director for her direction in the pilot of BBC series "Viva Blackpool", Robinson has helmed episodes of U.S. TV series, like "Big Love", "Weeds" and "Grey's Anatomy".
"The Last Song" is a Nicholas Sparks-scripted adaptation of his upcoming novel. It will be produced by Disney-based Offspring Entertainment partners Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot with Tish Cyrus serving as executive producer. In the movie, "Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus will be seen portraying a rebellious teenager sent to spend the summer with her estranged father. Whereas the movie is expected to come out in 2010, Sparks' novel itself will be published by Grand Central this fall.

Man charged with threatening Miley Cyrus’ life
A man has been charged with allegedly threatening to kill Miley Cyrus on the set of her latest movie “The Last Song,” on the same day another obsessed fan had felony charges of attempted stalking dropped.
US soldier Sean Christian Mathis, 22, is accused of showing up at the Georgia location where Cyrus’ body double was filming a scene for the Disney movie in June. He is reported to have mistaken the stand-in for Cyrus herself and shouting, “Hey, it’s Miley Cyrus. I’m going to f**king kill you.”
According to a police report obtained by TMZ.com, authorities arrested Mathis for making “terroristic (sic) threats” and disorderly conduct, and, after discovering he was a member of the army, called in the military police to take over the case. Officials announced on Wednesday they were pressing ahead with the case against Mathis, although details about court dates have yet to be revealed.
On Wednesday, 53-year-old Mark McLeod had counts of attempted stalking, obstruction of a police officer and disturbing the peace dismissed following his two arrests near “The Last Song” set over the summer.
McLeod, who was accused of making “inappropriate comments” to young Cyrus fans, escaped the charges after a grand jury ruled there was insufficient evidence to indict him. (Starpulse.com)
